Executive Director - Charlie Thompson

Charlie became the Executive Director after more than a year of service to the Society as the Director of Conference Services and Development Director. He is relatively new to the South Bend Community, coming from Portland, Oregon where he worked for Inside Track, and organization that motivates college students.. He holds a bachelor's degree in theater from College of the Ozarks, Mo. and a master's degree, also in theater, from Missouri State University, Springfield, Mo.

Store Operations Director - Alicia McMurtie

Alicia has been with the society for 32 years, and thrift store manager for 25.  She loves the diversity of her job: “I get to work with customers, with donors, with employees, and also do some in-store displays and organize the 50 percent off sales.”   She is a native of South Bend.

Development Consultant - Laura Chodacki Baker

Laura has been working with the St. Vincent de Paul Society for three years. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Masters of Nonprofit Administration program. She places a high priority on volunteer service through her work with the Girl Scouts of America as well as the Angel of Hope Memorial Garden. She is thankful for the opportunity to do "purposeful work" in a highly spiritual community.
