Office Manager / Executive Assistant
St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph County is seeking a full-time Office Manager / Executive Assistant to join our team. This position will report to the Executive Director and be responsible for managing the office pool and providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Development Director. Working in conjunction with the Director of Store Operations and the Director of Conference Services, this position will co-manage home pick-up and direct assistance office staff, and function as gate keeper to delegate work to the office pool, route issues to the appropriate director, or handle personally as necessary. The ideal candidate is a compassionate individual who is a self starter and good with managing people, time, and work flow. Must be familiar with the Catholic faith and act in a manner consistent with the teachings of the church and St. Vincent de Paul, working toward the mission of St. Vincent de Paul. They must be open to working occasional evenings and weekends, must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background check. Must be assertive, a good decision maker, flexible with work duties, good with prioritizing, and able to work well with the SVdP staff, clients and volunteers. Strong computer and other office skills are required – MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Windows 7, and preferably Donor Perfect.
